Bidding Responsibility
Bidders are strongly advised not to place bids during the final minutes or seconds of the auction to avoid the risk of connection or system delays. Neither JTR Auction House nor the Service Provider shall be responsible for any failure or lapse (including power failure, internet disruption, or technical malfunction) that occurs on the bidder’s or vendor’s side.
To prevent such issues, bidders are encouraged to make necessary preparations and have alternative arrangements, such as backup power supply or stable internet connectivity, to ensure uninterrupted participation throughout the auction.
System Requirements
It is the user’s sole responsibility to ensure that their hardware, software, and internet connection meet the necessary system requirements to access and use the JTR Online eBidding Portal effectively.
Service Interruption Disclaimer
The Auctioneer cannot and will not be held responsible for any interruption in service, system error, or omission that may occur. JTR Auction House does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free access to the eBidding portal.
The bidder acknowledges that the auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without prior warning. In the event of such malfunction, the Auctioneer reserves the sole discretion to:
• Void any affected sale,
• Temporarily suspend bidding, or
• Re-sell the affected lot(s).
The decision of the Auctioneer is final.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall JTR Auction House be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damages arising from:
i) Incorrect or improper use of the JTR Online eBidding Portal;
ii) Internet connectivity failures or technical issues experienced by the bidder or their Internet Service Provider;
iii) Inability of the bidder to submit a bid due to hardware, software, or other personal/local technical issues.
